ReplyDeleteHmmm, let's see who'd love a little bag, my mom to put her sewing stuff in, my daughter for HER sewing stuff, my daughter's bf's mom for HER sewing stuff, my daughter's bff for her little bits and pieces, a second for my daughter's bff cause HER daughter stole hers, my sister for small stuff she needs to carry for her grandson she's raising. I can think of lots of reasons to make little baggies from this pattern. And of course the scissors are great cause one can NEVER have TOO many scissors!!!

I've never sewed a zipper, but if this pattern says it's easy I'd love to give it a try! Those scissors are so cute, and since I do lots of applique they'd sure come in handy.

I would love to win this! I lead a 4-H sewing group of 12 kids ages 8 to 15. The next project (in January) we are working on is how to sew a zipper. I have been looking for a small zipper bag pattern. This would be perfect! Another bonus - the sample is already made! The scissors would be great to add to my group supplies that kids can use. I have a couple kids who have never sewn before and have no supplies of their own, and they just borrow mine.

You can never have enough little zipper bags. They're not only great for your sewing stuff, I'd also use it for make up & for those feminine hygiene products saves looking for them in the bottom of your bag

ReplyDeleteI've inflicted the little 8-year old next door with the "sewing bug". The phone will ring and I'll hear "Miss Kay, can we sew today, please?" She has been sewing on my Elna since she was 6 - and she is a "natural". Her mother (who doesn't sew) is bewildered by all of this. Now, Rachel is having me teach her how to do counted cross stitch so that she can sew at home, too. This child needs tools! Would be great for her!

ReplyDeleteI was at a retreat last weekend and Monique Dillard told us about the slick way she puts her zippers in...I need to try!!
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of sewing, have sewn for over 45 years and the one thing I HATE is zippers...so learning a new technique would be fabulous!!!

ReplyDeleteI would use the cute little bag for my handwork that I carry everywhere. The scissors would be nice for my handwork and beside my machine for snipping threads. The tweezers would be nice to use when I need to pull up m bobbin thread when quilting. Thanks for the great stocking stutters.
