Vicki Hager

What specific job responsibilities do you have here at Moda Fabrics?
I'm in Customer Service, so I resolve customer issues & questions; take & place customer orders; review/release web orders. I double as the office receptionist so I  direct new walk -in shoppers and handle overflow calls through out the day.  I also create graphics and signage as needed, and keep the showrooms updated with new product samples as they come in.
Where did you grow up?
Dallas, TX
How long have you worked for Moda Fabrics:
It will be 4 years this December
What did your first quilt look like and when did you make it?
I sew, but do not quilt (I expect my incoming phone calls will drop off drastically once customers read this).
Three things you couldn't do your job without.
The computer, patience, and my 'keg' of coffee
Other favorite past time / hobbies?
Reading, movies, getting together with friends and gardening
What did you want to be when you were 12 years old?
LOL - I had absolutely no idea.
Tell us about another job you had...
I was a producer for a start up radio program which focused on home improvement. Wore a lot of 'hats'; managed inhouse & remote broadcasts, lined up guest speakers, even helped some of our sponsors with their commercials; it was a blast!
Tell us something about you that most people don't know...
I have degrees in art and am a closet hippie
My vice in life...
Red wine and dark chocolate

Flowers or Food?  What kind?
Both, thank you!  Fresh bread, Italian food and any beautiful garden

What fashion trend do you wish would come back in style & why?
The 1980s big hair (Texas women are partial to big hair) and shoulder pads - everyone should have the chance to look like Romulans again.
If you choose a career as a XXX movie star & need a stage name, they say; use the name of your first pet & the street you lived on - what would yours be?
Little Miss Nonnie Cove
Where would you go on your dream vacation?
Somewhere with beaches, night-life, grand hotels, architectural history and verdant landscapes (definitely an extended vacation)
Brown bag or go out?
BB?! Aack!! Go out when at all possible!
If you did work, what would you do?
Take life drawing classes from a master, travel, go to film festivals, play with my grandson and be a personal shopper
What makes you laugh?
my grandson and Ron White's comedy
If you could have chosen your own name what would it be?
Francesca Forte (sounds so European & elegant...  Actually, it was my paternal grandmother's name)
What did you get in trouble for most when you were a kid?
Running everywhere, never walking.
What would you try if you had no fear?
Singing and anchoring ABC News Tonight
What one question would you ask a psychic about your future?
Am I really gonna win the lotto? (I hate to waste good money)
