It's off to Portland for Quilt Market! Pictured below is one of my favorite pictures from Fall Quilt Market in Houston. I loved the "My Favorite Color is Moda" theme, and I can't wait to see what the new theme will be! I'll be doing an after-market re-cap post in a couple of weeks, so let me know in the comment section below if there is anything Moda you want me to be sure and report on!
I've been working on my Bella solids blocks this week and have shared 3 new blocks today on my blog. I'm using the Moda Friendship Quilt Along blocks with my favorite Bella solids (below: Amelia Orange, Peony, Daffodil, Peacock, and Amelia Pink).
It's hard to pick a favorite...the fabrics are just like candy!
There are so many Bella colors to choose from, but my quilt needs a few more blues in the mix, so I'll be using a bit more blue in my next three blocks. I've made 12 blocks so far...
Color numbers and pdf links for these three are over at A Quilting Life today!
Remember to leave a comment about anything Moda you'd like to see in my after Quilt Market post. Thanks so much for stopping by the Moda Cutting Table!
pictures, lots of pictures!!! :)

ReplyDeleteI love the solids! So pretty! Have fun at market.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks in solids look wonderful. Sure do wish I could come to Market, especially since I live right here in Portland and I'm in walking distance of the convention center. Darn ~ don't have a business.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at market, safe travels! I always want to hear about new Moda fabric lines coming along....and I would really like to know how a "regular" everyday person can attend Quilt Market?
