Blogger Gene Black said...
I would probably take my giant seam ripper (protection from wild things) and some Aurifil thread because that is some useful thread. I could use it to trap food and to make a clothesline and even to floss my teeth. Ha ha.

  3. Yes, I like seeing what the designers use. And it's been an entertaining series as well.

  4. I'd love it if there could be a post compiling all of the favorite notions that have been mentioned on this blog. I've only been quilting for a couple of years, and I am not familiar with many of these notions, but they sound wonderful. I often read the posts and then go off onto the internet to learm more about these items, but there's not always time for that right away, and a list of favorites would be so handy to come back to.

  6. Yeppers, Penny's "seam roller"! I have not read of this before. It reminds me of the wallpaper gadget that I used at the seams. OMGosh, seams in wallpaper, seams in quilting, I think I now should say "why didn't I think of this myself?!
And oopsey on myself, for I think I have been missing the winners names at the very bottom of your emails; half the time I read my emails from my tiny smartphone screen.
