This looks like a whole lot of fun. But, did you leave out my favorite designer, Joanna of Fig Tree! If so, can you ask her to participate, also, just a thought . . .

I have never made an autograph quilt but I have read many stories that told about them. I can't wait to start. Eileen

Cann not print the Brackman block and the link to pattern for the Blackbird block is not working. I am so disappointed. I was looking forward to the Quilt Along.

I have never made a friendship quilt but this will inspire me to make one for my granddaughter. I'd love to win this fat quarter set of fabric.

I have been in three friendship block swaps and had a great time. Thank you so much for sharing some very interesting history with us. It is amazing what you can learn from our sister stitchers.

The link for BasicGrey is not set properly - only if you hit the http: will it come up. Also, comments are piling up at BlackBird Designs - the pattern link is not working.

Diane said...

I printed the Basic Grey and the Blackbird Designs but am unable to print Brackman block no matter how I go at it.

I too am having trouble getting Barbara Brackman's block. Can it be fixed so we can still get it?

TerryH said...

Brackman is the first I have tried to print - Help - it isn't working.

Elaine said...

Thanks this is perfect timing as I am making something for a dear friend and wanted to incorporate stars. Who knew? I certainly didn't SO MUCH MORE to learn about quilting. How wonderfuL!!!

Lee said...

I am loving the blocks! thanks for the fun!

Sheree said...

I see a couple people having problems. For the Brackman block click on the block on the left hand side of her blog, it should come right up. I was able to print all of them earlier today. With some of them I had to read a little bit to see that it says click here to download the pattern. Just a helpful hint and I hope you can all get them soon.

I just want to say that I am loving this QAL but am very disappointed that Jenn Ski isn't offering a block pattern. I was under the impression all of the participating blogs would be offering a block pattern. :(

Unknown said...

This IS terrific! Just the inspiration I needed. I did notice some designers aren't offering blocks so does anyone have ideas to replace the missing blocks? I'd love to have something that will fit in with these for today's two missing blocks.

Kathy Santo said...

I love the reds in the Avalon collection from Fig Tree and company.

Diane said...

Since the block has already be drafted for Jen to be able to have it pieced could you simple post the link?

DeAnna Julie Dodson said...

I would also like the link to the pattern for Jen Ski's block.

Also, I'm not finding the pattern for Jan Patel's either. Am I missing it somewhere? Is there another source for the link?

Thanks!

Marti said...

In Jan Patel's blog, she said the link didn't work and we need to email her. I assume a comment will do if you have your email turned on. At least that's what I did.

Jen Ski said she didn't have a block, but if there is one for her, I'd like it too please.

Emilou said...

I am having the same trouble as DeAnna and Marti. I cannot get the two blocks from Jan Patel and Jenn Ski. Please help. Thanks a block!!

Linda Uldriks said...

So am I understanding right. Jan Patek and Jenn Ski do not have blocks to share?

Kathy Santo said...

You have to email Jan Patek to request it.

I have hunted and hunted for the block from Jenn Ski. Am I blind? I just cannot find a link for a block. Please help me. I am very frustrated. I do have trouble finding the links and I have been over and over and over and over the post. Also, some of the links to her site, do not work. The links take me to a site that wants me to sign up to create my own website. I didn't know this was going to be a trick to get me to get another website using another product.

I cannot get the Quilt Along block to print out from Kathy Schmitz. Can you give us another link to it so it will print?
Thank you.

Looking forward to tomorrow's post! Based on my count and printouts, ... Looks like there may be a total of 31 blocks, and we don't have the patterns yet for #1, 3, 8, 21, and 26. I don't know why Jenn Ski wouldn't be assigned her own block. She offered a substitute, but it was the same as the Jung's. Perhaps it will all come together tomorrow! Thanks for the Quilt A Long!

Sue said...

I still can't get Feb 21st Jan Patek it still is coming back to her or Jenn Ski has no post about the quilt along

Rachel said...

V & Co's block was number 31 but there are only 27 blogs linked. Also, one of the bloggers didnt have a block and re-used someone elses, so I'm missing 4 blocks. Will they be posted tomorrow by this blog?

Shebandowan said...

Thank you so much for all of these wonderful blocks. For some reason I cannot locate Block 21 and Block 26. Please advise where I might find them.

Thank you

I can not find block 21 & 26 yet like some of you. Could you please post the links on this page?
Thank you.

PDXPam said...

I am also missing a 21 and 26. I went through and put the names of all the contributors with their blocks (except the one who said she didn't post a block, she linked to block 27 from someone else) so I know I didn't miss one unless I really am losing my mind!!! lol

Deborah Mitchell said...

It looks like most of us are missing blocks 21 & 26. Block 24 is no longer showing it's link. Although the hop said 30 blocks originally, I have a block numbered 31.

You are welcome so glad I could help. I decided to try the link and was able to find them myself. They have updated the last day with them as well.
